DIGITAL STORYTELLING

Hello everyone,

I'm going to inform you about our new assignment named"digital storytelling" now. We have watched videos effortlessly while they have been created effortfully. Thanks to this project, I learned how difficult it is to create a video. Digital storytelling is one of the digital media products that let anyone to create and vocalised their own story.

For our assignment I and my team mates K.Beyza Uslu and Rabia Tuğlu created our own digital storytelling video,too. Our teacher gave us 3 options.
Option 1: Creating a Public Service Announcement (PSA)
Option 2: Creating a How-to Story
Option 3: Creating a fictional story

We chose option 1 creating a PSA. We focused on "plastic pollution" that is an issue relevant to Turkey. We gave some important informations about it  wanted people to take action by watching this video. Deciding the subject, writing a script, doing storyboard were the easiest parts of the project in my opinion. Then, we took photos and recorded our voices. Here is the toughest one: finding proper application for filming and editing.

BYE BYE EVERYONE

Hello everyone, How are you? If you ask me, I am a little bit tired and sad. The reason why I am sad is because this is the last post I share on my blog. Yes, we have literally come to the end of the spring semester. This means it is the end of my third year as an Elt student at Marmara University. Next year, I will be a pre-service teacher that's why I am excited these days. When it comes to the reason why I am tired, I am tired because I am in my final week.
