BYE BYE EVERYONE

Hello everyone, How are you? If you ask me, I am a little bit tired and sad. The reason why I am sad is because this is the last post I share on my blog. Yes, we have literally come to the end of the spring semester. This means it is the end of my third year as an Elt student at Marmara University. Next year, I will be a pre-service teacher that's why I am excited these days. When it comes to the reason why I am tired, I am tired because I am in my final week. I must admit that this year was too tough for me and my friends. Is the third year the most difficult year at university? I guess so. This blog is very precious for me. Because for the last two years, I have been writing in each week. It is like a diary of my university life and of my two different courses. I took Educational course last year and this term I took Material Design. Both of the courses enlightened me about the importance of the technology in EFL/ESL classes. I learned so many things. WEBQUEST

Hi everyone! Welcome back! Today, I will talk about "webquest". To be honest, I had never heard of "webquest" before the last "Material Design in ELT" class. What about you? Have you ever heard of it? Webquest is an educational task that is carried out using the internet. So, we created a technology- enhanced project by using "webquest" for our students. The project we chose from to coursebook is to create a movie poster and writing a movie review. We wanted our students to use Web 2.0 tools, such as Canva, Postermywall and Wiki Page, while creating their projects. When it comes to the process of creating our Webques

It should be everywhere.  During the pandemic days, all of us are at home. Aren't we bored? Yes, definetely. So, what about going to France? No, we don't need to go to France by plane. France can come to our homes thanks to the Augmented Reality. But how? The term "Augmented Reality" means "augment your reality" by combining the physical world with computer-generated virtual elements. So, through our smartphones cameras we can get the digital information of the real world. For instance, we can view the 3D model of Eiffel Tower. We can have the tower at home by using different applications such as ARize. What about benefiting from Augmented Reality in English language classes? Isn't it a great idea? It is. Because; It is fun. It is student-centered. It is productive. It incre
