HELLO EVERYONE, Today I'm going to talk about creating an online poster. Anyone can create a poster. It's easy to do. Our educational technologies teacher gave us two options:movie poster book report project and magazine cover project. I chose the former one and the book " The Martian" which has made into a movie before. However, I don't think that creating a poster which is indepentdent from its real one is easy. It's all about your imagination."The Martian" is about an astronaut's struggle to survive on Mars. It's so escapist. I used " Postermywall " which has lots of templates. I'm leaving my poster below.

Infografic (Information Graphic) is a visual representation of information or data such as a diagram or chart. It makes the data easily understandable. Infografics are more likely to be read than standart articles. Due to the fact that it is visual,it is more permanent. For our educational technologies lesson, our teacher wanted us to create an infograpich about Web 2.0 Tools. I chose 3 tools that I frequently use. These tools are Edmodo,Blogger and Tureng. First I gave some information about each tool and then i mentioned their affordances and constraints. For this project, I used the "Pictochart" . Hello everyone, I'm going to inform you about our new assignment named"digital storytelling" now. We have watched videos effortlessly while they have been created effortfully. Thanks to this project, I learned how difficult it is to create a video. Digital storytelling is one of the digital media products that let anyone to create and vocalised their own story.                                               click here For our assignment I and my team mates K.Beyza Uslu and Rabia Tuğlu created our own digital storytelling video,too. Our teacher gave us 3 options. Option 1: Creating a Public Service Announcement (PSA) Option 2: Creating a How-to Story Option 3: Creating a fictional story We chose option 1 creating a PSA. HELLO EVERYONE, What about talking about Padlet. Do you know what Padlet is ?                               click here Padlet is an application having a blank wall to post. We can use it to display any information. We can post messages, images, videos and links to online resources. First, we create our own accounts second, we build a new board and then start writing. It is free and easy to use. I and my group friends Beyza and Rabia created a padlet wall named "OUR DYING PLANET". Our subject is "Air Pollution on Earth". At first, we created a KWL chart and then start posting. K:What We Know W:What we want to learn L:What we learned In my opinion, padlets are very useful and informative in terms of learing. I learned so many things about air pollution such as the pollution in the air has been with us since the Ancient Rome. Padlets make us to think critically. All teachers and students should use and create padlets.              

HELLO EVERYONE , Today I will talk about Wikis. What is a wiki? It's a public website which has a content that can be edited (of course with permission) by anyone else who visits the site. We can say that it is a tool that is authored by collaboratively. Is is so easy to edit a wiki page. Teachers should use wiki in lessons and want their students to create wiki pages.This pages can be about everything. For instance, I and Gizem had a wikipage that we reviewed a film named "Les Choristes".This film makes a big impression on us. It is about how a good teacher can change the life of a student. Both of us want to be teacher and we learned something about being a good teacher that's why we reviewed "Les Choristes". Now let's have a good look at RSS.                    click here RSS means  "Really Simple Syndication" . It can be used in many ways for work or for personal to follow and read our favorite blogs or websites easily and so quickly. It is  time saving to use RSS because when we open the reader, it automatically goes to all of the blogs or websites we follow. In other words,all news at one place . We can download RSS Reader such as Feedreader on a computer if we have one or we can use online reader such as Google Reader. I use Feedreader . This is the screenshot of my reader. I'll recommend an educational blog to you.

Hello my lovely  subscribers , This term we started to take Educational Technologies course. Before this term, I didn't even think that we ,students, would be so active in learning to create our personal blogs and become in the center of education. I'm happy to express my opinions easily  on topics studied in class. Today, I am going to talk of what 21st Century Learing is, why it is important, what 21 st century learning skills are and et cetera. ''There is nothing permanent except change.'' says Heraclitus. click here   Everything is changing day by day with technology. And we have to move with the times especially when it comes to education . Our teachers in primary school used to use black board, chalk 10 years ago but now almost all of them use smart boards. They should teach with technology because their students deserve to  get high technology education.   What is the framework for 21st Century Learning?
